I had a lovely shoot at Amber Kat studio the other day. The studio boasts a great host of different sets to choose from, in particular vintage style which is my particular fortay. Nick is a excellent host and I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the studio. Highly recommended.

Attended a studio day at Amberkat Studio, and had a great shoot. Nick's help with, and advice on, light setup was very much appreciated. Intimate studio setting with an array of props, and good open space in a dance studio space next door.

This is the first time i have used the studio. Nick the studio owner was a fantastic host, the studio is preped with a number of props and good amount of lighting equipment. I would highly recommend using this studio, i will be using the studio again in the near future.

Today was my first visit to Amber Kat, while I only used the beautiful natural light to shoot, there are lots of studio lights available if required.

Nick was a very helpful host, and gave a good indication of the multitude of props and settings which are there for use. Overall I found it a good experience anI would be happy to shoot at Amber Kat in the near future.

My first photo shoot at Amber Kat studios yesterday was great and went well, Its a nice place with plenty of lighting and props. Zac the owner was very welcoming and helpful with the lighting if you needed it and would stay in the background if you didn't..

I would definitely go back and highly recommend the studio.

I recently attended a Jack Russell workshop at Amber Kat studios, it was a bit of a last minute decision on my part but Zac accommodated me without issue. The workshop was well organised yet had a relaxed atmosphere. The studio itself was great and full of quirky props. Would certainly use the space again.

I was lucky enough to shoot at Amber Kat on Wednesday evening when I modelled for their group shoot along with another model.

I was amazed by the studio - especially the amount of props they have. I knew immediately that the evening would be a fantastic, creative one and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

Nick and Jose were extremely welcoming, as were all the members that attended the shoot.

I would recommend this studio definitely. Thank you for having me.

Having just read David Edwards review he said it all really. If you are looking for a versatile studio in Liverpool at reasonable rates then you have found it.

Only complaint tonight was Nick lent me his beautiful 85 mm lens and I wish he hadnt cos I want one now! As it was on my crop sensor it was more like a 110 mm.

Nick made some really helpful suggestions as well (he must have thought I needed them lol) Thanks also to Mischkah Scott tonight's model and Jose for being the scene shifter and reflector holder par excellance.

I have to admit I usually shoot on my own and not as a group, however, about 10 weeks ago started going to Nick's Meetup group at Amber Kat. The fortnightly Wednesday night 7 pm -10 pm is actually a refreshing change from shooting on your own and you never fail to leave with a golden nugget of advice or an image from an evening there. In addition to Nick Price you'll find Jose Cordoso and Zak Tyler there all willing to provide help and assistance.

The studio is amazing... it is in a constant state of change with Nick's collecting ability (read Magpie in a previous life) you are not short of props or lighting options... For the cost of the Meetup, Nick not only lets you loose on his studio but provides really fab models to work with...

For anyone who has any reluctance in shooting in a group environment I'd say this... you are missing out on a really friendly studio with an accommodating and talented studio owner... great models and an ace bunch of like minded photographers willing to help and share with each other. The modern catch phrase is Continuing Professional Development :)

The studio is an Aladdin's cave full of props and interesting backdrops to shoot against.

This is one of my favourite studios ever! Its a really cool place to shoot, always has an amazing atmosphere as well as countless props and set options. It also boasts a nice big window for natural light shots which is a bonus! I shoot there quite often and always love going.

I attended a Networking Day today and found an absolute gem of a studio/workspace!!!

Amber Kat has a massive wealth of opportunity for a photographer looking to shoot in very wide range of styles, the natural light is brilliant, the equipment is varied and the crew are fabulous!

I will be a booking here regularly, go get yourself down and see what you are missing!!

Have worked at Amber Kat Studio twice now, once with Nick and once with Zak. It is a fabulous space that oozes creativity. Lovely dressing room with good lighting perfect for makeup. Nick and Zak are both fantastic photographers. Highly recommended.
