I booked Alena for a commercial collaboration I was shooting with an independent fashion brand and a jewellery company. Pre comms were outstanding and clear and despite travel disruptions on the day Alena battled hard to get to the shoot location! Alena is exceptional at what she does and makes it all look so effortless. Her attention to detail, awareness of technical as well as aesthetics was so refreshing to work with and has resulted in wonderful results which I will post here in due course. I booked a pop up location shoot with Alena which was the first time I’d worked with her.

Alena tuned up with a huge range of truly amazing outfits that perfectly matched the space so straight away I knew it was going to be a good shoot.

Alena’s professional editorial posing skills made my job very easy to be honest as she needs very little direction. Alena’s experience & enthusiasm also helped enormously - always keen to suggest ideas and check the images after each group of shots to make sure that we hadn’t missed any minor details.

A really fun and productive shoot and would highly recommend Alena.

She arrived perfectly on time and we were shooting very quickly.

Her experience as a professional model was clear from the start and Alena knew how to pose without direction which meant I could focus on the photography.

Alena brought a excellent selection of clothes that were well thought out so that she could change quickly to give a variety of looks.

Alena is a lovely person to work with, she is very relaxed and easy going but knows when to concentrate and focus to get the perfect shot. I can highly recommend her.

Alena joined me for a shoot in Kew Gardens. She came totally prepared and arrived ready to shoot immediately. She had organized her wardrobe according to my specifications and ensured all was in order. I’ve actually never seen such a high level of organization before. We were soon in a rhythm with Alena needing little to no direction from me. She had creative suggestions and reminded me of some of the things I had mentioned in communications prior to the shoot. This input proved invaluable. Apart from the professionalism she brought to the shoot, she was also fun to be around and I would be happy to shoot with her again. I’m really pleased with how the shots came out, and that’s entirely down to her. Highly recommended.

I booked Alena to model for one of my masterclasses last week at The Societies’ Convention and she was perfect. Professional, punctual and well-prepared, she was the ideal subject for my Speedlight Portraits talk. It is always a joy to photograph a model who has natural beauty and poise, both of which Alena has plenty of, but she must also be able to assess a situation and act accordingly. Alena was great; she interpreted the brief and took direction very well, enchanting us all and enabling me to focus on the lighting setups I was demonstrating to the audience. From this one experience of working with Alena, I can highly recommend her for beauty and fashion work and will definitely be contacting her for future bookings.

Professionalism:

Comunicaiton was super straightforward with promt e-mail and phone-call comms to discuss the shoot themes and logistics. Alena was on time and brought everything we agreed.

Personality:

Alena is super easy to get on with. Very polite and very open minded to ideas which I really liked. I had previously pitched the 'hold an iron' idea to several models and was laughed off the phone - thankfully Alena just got it.

Photogenicity:

Alena poses with ease and has tremndous variety in her facial exrpession. I fould this refreshing. She also has wonderful command of her frame and especially good patience - putting up with my pernickity attention to detail! Thank you Alena.

I had the pleasure to work with Alena yesterday. It was our first shoot together but I hope it won't be our last. She is an outstanding, fun and inspiring model. Very professional and easy going. Communication was excellent, before and during the shoot. She came very well prepared, as we discussed previously. She brought a lot of costumes and she did her own make-up/hair to a top quality level.

I had a great first shoot with Alena yesterday. Pre coms were superb and Alena also kept me informed of her journey to the studio.

I wanted to use this shoot to experiment a little (okay a lot lol) with some light set ups and also use the lensbaby lens and i stated this in the pre coms and Alena was more than happy to oblige and was extremely patient on the shoot as i tinkered with the lights on some shoots, it was most appreciated.

Modelling wise, Alena is amazing. She needed zero direction and poses at ease and is probably one of the best fashion models i have worked with to date.

I would love to work with Alena again later this year and i can easily highly recommend her.

Alena stepped in when I had a flacky model drop off the face of the earth today. I am so glad that this happened as Alena is another level above and beyond any model I have shot in the past. She rushed home and prepared in 2 hours and then took me to some stunning locations. Her wardrobe fitted the discription better than I could of imagined and her ability to pose well wow.

Together we created images that surpassed any thing I imagined we would create and I would recommend her to anyone wanting an outstanding model.

Arranging a shoot with Alena was so easy as our communications were really good and constructive, with both of us adding to the creativity plan. Alena's professionalism came through as anything I hadn't covered she would prompt.

On the day she arrive with all I asked her to bring and we quickly sailed through a shooting plan for the day. She is an incredibly beautiful woman with such a versatile look.

She poses effortlessly with and without direction. She was keen to view the images back of camera scanning for anything that she could do better and was more than happy to suggest and implement improvements in her poses. I like it when a model takes an interest,

We got through a number of costumes changes and looks on the day, with Alena able to skilfully change her make-up and hair.
