Artemis Fauna

I worked with Alan for the first time at the weekend when he booked myself and Carla Monaco on our Christmas duo weekender!

We spent two hours chatting, working through lots of different ideas and taking some really nice images. We shot portraits, fashion, casual and art nudes in the time and it flew by!

Alan is quite new to model photography so he was happy to listen to our advice, try out our ideas and work together as a team on the images.

Thank you Alan, hope to work with you again in 2019, perhaps in Tuscany! :) :)

Awesome first shoot with Alan at my home :) I was feeling really poorly with a cold but the shoot was so laid back and relaxed that it was absolutely fine. We got some beautiful, natural, homely pictures which looked real not staged. Thank you Alan for such a brilliant shoot, Claire Topaz

***It is my complete pleasure to leave Alan his very first reference on Purpleport! :) ***

Alan initially got in touch with me here as he had seen a print of me which he had recently bought for his home. Upon doing some background research behind the image, Alan found out that I was the model! He then created an account here and contacted me on Purpleport to organise a photoshoot...And the date was set! :)

We decided to work together in a gorgeous ruin in Chepstow and the weather on the day was beautiful! Alan was very kind to reorganise the original date as he was concerned that with the booming temperatures we have had recently it would be too hot for me- which was extremely thoughtful.

He was also very kind to agree for me to bring a chaperone (my partner) for the days shoot- which I only request on location if a photographer does not have any references (The other alternative is shooting in a supervised studio). Alan was very respectful and thoughtful and said that this was no problem at all. On meeting Alan he was extremely welcoming, kind, genuine and professional.

The photographs on the day were beautiful and Alan gave great direction during the shoot but equally let me have my own space to be as creative as I liked! :)

Aside from photography he is a man of many talents- He is a writer who works in a hospice once a week and an ex professional musician. I found him

such a lovely spirit to work with- He is extremely humble and very kind.

I would love to work with Alan again in the future and hope to have made a new friend! Roger and I really enjoyed the day! Thanks so much Alan and hope to work with you again soon! Highly recommended to all, Helen Diaz x
