Went to Art Asylum for a day shoot with the wonderful Tasha.

Arrived just as my shooting slot was starting traffic was a nightmare.

Coffee and a chat was first then shooting began.

Steve was friendly and welcoming, showed me around the studio and shooting spaces.

Studio is well equipped with lighting, backdrops and props, Steve was happy to move things and setup areas without question.

Total pleasure to work there, and I hope to do so again.

If your in the area and need a studio this will suit you to the ground.

My first shoot at Art Asylum Reloaded Studio, Weymouth, a very warm welcome from Steve and Tasha, I felt right at home, a loverly atmosphere and a really well equipped studio with plenty of sets. Tasha had been on at me for a while to go to this studio, im so pleased that I took her advise, we had a great time, plenty of laughs and some good solid work, Steve was so helpful with lighting and advise, lets be totally honest here, as a hobbyist photographer you want to learn something have fun and get some decent photographs, Steve delivered on all counts.

I will defiantly be booking the studio again, there is a lot I can learn from Steve and plenty of fun to be had, I recommend Steve and his studio and he makes a good cup of tea.

I hosted a groupshoot at the studio which was rearranged from April. The fact that Steve managed to sell the shoot out twice shows how much effort he puts into the days with his networking skills, not that any model should rest on their laurels by not helping to promote the day themselves.

Steve was on hand to ensure everything ran like clockwork, ensuring everyone had a warm welcome and was well hydrated on a rather warm summers day.

He helped to facilitate a warm and friendly atmosphere where everyone can feel safe to express themselves. The jovial environment meant everyone had a good time which simply flew by.

Steve was on hand to assist with lighting and we ensured that we worked enough time into the group shoot to allow individual photographers to tweak the lighting set ups so that they all came aways with bespoke images, or just carbon copies which is what makes Art Asylum's Group shoots so unique from other studios.

I had the privilege of shooting at Art Asylum Reloaded Photo Studio in Weymouth again, this was my first visit since five years ago and so much has changed since my last visit. The amount of lights and props available has increased along with the number of softboxes. The shooting areas are better laid out and ever the model's changing room has been improved.

However the warm welcome has remained the same and Steve, the owner is as helpful and friendly as before. On this occasion I was there for Mel4nie's Secretary group shoot, which was well organised and ran. Steve remained on hand to help with the lighting and making tea and coffees for everyone. Thanks for all your efforts and hosting this group shoot. Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of working at The Art Asylum reloaded studio last weekend for An exciting busy weekend. Steve was a brilliant host. A very creative and hard working owner. I felt comfortable as soon as I arrived. A perfect changing room with options to borrow the studios wardrobe (which is great BTW!!)

A good selection of sets and props.

Steve is always on hand to help and even actually holds props!!

Highly recommend and definitely want to return :)

Steve made me feel so comfortable, showing me round the studio and respectful at all times. It is a big studio, with a great changing room and the vintage set was my favourite.

Another fabulous visit to this amazing studio, although this time the team were out in full force! Team Black hosted a group workshop on studio and natural light and from the initial idea onwards Steve facilitated everything and made sure it ran as smoothly as possible. Steve's pre shoot communications are phenomenal, always prompt and includes as much information as you need which really helps when organising larger groups. Steve handled bookings through his website and kept us up to date with bookings throughout, sending links to portfolios in advance so we knew who was attending.

During the shoot itself Steve was on hand to help where needed and had tea and coffee on tap for the attendees. He was perfectly polite as usual and amazing images were captured in his stunning studio!

The studio is so well equipped that we were able to do all of our proposed sets, offering the attending photographers 4 different sets throughout the shoot! Steve is always super helpful changing gobo slides and moving lighting around so you can focus on shooting.

We highly recommend the studio and Steve as the owner, phenomenal shoot again.

Art Asylum is a well set out studio catering to all your model and photography needs, Steve was very welcoming and was my first time using this studio and was on hand to assist if need be which was nice as im not too familiar with the studio setting overall as i'm normally on location and building up my experience in the studio as time goes on, i'm very sure ill be back at some point

Just finished my first studio day at Art Asylum and loved it! Steve was so friendly and welcoming, coming to meet me at the station and showing me around the studio beforehand. Communication in the lead up was great, and organising the day was really straightforward.

It’s a great location, with loads of space for set ups with studio lights and back drops as well as different dressed areas and loads of natural light. The changing room is a big space with everything you’d need and lots of wardrobe options too. Steve was always on hand to assist with lighting, make suggestions and check I had enough cups of tea to keep me going throughout the day! I also got to make use of the fab location right by the seafront, shooting by the beach and harbour with one of the photographers I worked with. Steve made my time at the studio really relaxed and enjoyable, and I’m looking forward to coming back in the future.

Yet again another fantastic shoot at one of my favourite studios Art Asylum. I shot here last week with the wonderful Darkbear Photography. Steve is a wonderful host,always making sure I have everything I need. He’s so accommodating from start to finish. Heats the studio up before I get there,helps me with my bags and of course tea and coffee on draft! He’s always been so kind and respectful to me and i will never forget Steve was one of my first professional shoots in this trade! I love working here with the beautiful set ups he has. You can see a lot of effort goes into the studio to keep it looking so good. Always around to assist us when we need him with lighting ect. Thankyou for having us Steve! You’re truly wonderful! It’s always a pleasure to work with Steve. This time we did another studio day and it went really well due to Steve’s professionalism and friendly attitude. Steve always has excellent communication and his pre-communication was on spot as always. Steve was kind enough to help me to rearrange slots and even helped to organise a remote shoot and was very helpful throughout the whole studio day. His studio is one of the best I have ever been, has a lot of different set ups and every photographer can find something suitable their tastes there. Another shoot at this lovely studio, this time facilitating a remote shoot between the photographer and model during her studio day. Steve's pre shoot communications were excellent, as usual, and he kept me up to date throughout. He was super helpful during the shoot, moving and adjusting lighting as required.

Steve's studio is one I enjoy attending. It's a polite and professional environment and the photographers have always been respectful. Steve himself is great company, always offering tea and coffee and making sure the model is warm.

Had my first shoot at Art Asylum reloaded last week. Steve was a pleasure to deal with, great pre comms and very helpful. The studio is well equipped with two separate rooms to shoot in, and we also ran a remote session using Steve's camera tethered to a laptop - Steve was especially helpful on this session and ensured it all worked out well. I enjoyed all 5 sessions that were arranged and look forward to going back in the not too distant future.

Another fantastic shoot yesterday at the amazing art asylum studio. Steve is absolutely wonderful and amazing. Without a doubt his hospitality is always awesome.I absolutely adore and love shooting at the Art asylum. Love the set ups and the props! Always manage to walk away with stunning images. If you haven’t visited or worked at the art asylum you must go! Such a great studio! And Steve is one in a million! Been shooting with Steve since I first started modelling so we definitely go back! Thankyou for everything! You’re the best! Highly recommend of course! Can’t wait for more shoots there in the future. Maybe another studio day! Keep your eyes peeled! X

I've lost count of how many times I've been to the studio recently, but this most recent was to host a latex day. As usual, Steve's pre shoot communications with me were excellent from the start, helping me with promotion and making himself and his studio available for me. The studio itself is very well equipped, all it takes is a little imagination and you can have gobo light effects all the way through to natural light boudoir - it covers everything. Steve always keeps the studio warm and the changing room stocked with biscuits and basic essentials so if you need bobby pins, they're available!

During the course of the day we tethered to Belgium and the USA with my equipment and Steve was more than willing to hand hold the camera on a ladder over the bath to help the photographer get his perfect shot, that's his level of commitment! Steve is always polite and professional whilst being friendly and approachable. I feel very comfortable in the studio and will happily return and recommend it to other models.

I look forward to the future visits already in the diary, thankyou again for another wonderful shoot!

I love shooting remotely at your studio. Thank you for assisting me with all the lighting and gels.

Getting to use your Gobos was quite nice, as i have yet to buy some for myself. Having access to such excellent gear and knowledge is truley inspiring.

It was my first time shooting at this studio remotely, with Angel Black.

We had planned it some time ago, and I was looking forward to working with Angel at somewhere new, for me.

The studio has great spaces to shoot, you can use natural light, with some great stronger or softer lighting, depending on where you shoot.

There is natural light as mentioned, but also LED & flash, so no shortage of options.

The sets available, and brick walls in available in areas were enough, and there are plenty of props available, including a bath...

Steve was a star, helping Angel out, and holding the camera for me, when I had an idea to shoot downwards.

I can recommend this fantastic studio, for remote or in person shoots.

Booked for one of the recent model shoots, comms were precise and clear. Upon arrival greeted by the host Steve and shown around the many possibilities for shooting.

Steve being on hand throughout to provide assistance made for a relaxing time.

The numerous facilities and props make this a worthy studio indeed.
