After the hiatus that the Rona brought us all I'm slowly returning to working with models. Traditionally a street/travel/documentary photographer I see the the genre of portraiture as my weakest and least explored aspect of photography. I'm not going into 2024 with any grand plans but to quietly build a portfolio with models I worked with before and new creatives. Ideally I'd like to bring some of my street/documentary work into portraiture. Story telling to me is important. I am a massive fan of Todd Hido's early work which works on suggestion and memory. I shoot digital mostly but will still be busting the RZ67 out from time to time along with an arsenal of much smaller film cameras. If any of this sounds interesting to you please do not hesitate to reach out to me. If you can shoot from home with reasonable natural light (my preferred way of shooting) I'd love to hear from you.
