I run my own Double Glazing Repair business. Luckily it will never be taken over by a computer. The interesting thing about this thread is that I can't see anyone who does photography as a full time profession. Could it be that it is no longer a profession that requires much skill?

Well, I was a Fine Art student for three years but I graduated with a first back in July and have been modelling full time since. So, apart from modelling....Hmmm, what do I do...hmm, not much else!
I do a bit of photography on the side, only a little bit though, but the shots from my last shoot I am over the moon with so may try some more to entertain me on quiet days. :O)

When I'm not snapping I scribble about snaps I have taken and when I'm not scribbling I snap things to scribble about and when I'm not snapping or scribbling I sip red wine or real ale and then sleep for about four hours a night. As the sun's out I've done with scribbling for the moment and I'm off snapping, though I might do a little sipping before I start scribbling again at sundown.

My day job (so-to-speak) is the Senior Theatre Technician for a small theatre ... So lights/sound/stage hand/crew for theatrical shows - silly hours of work and no 2 weeks are the same - though all in all good fun :)
Though as with all jobs, it comes with it's fair share of paperwork too - which I'm not overly keen on.
Some shows come to the theatre fully tech-crewed up, so I just babysit their productions, and other shows I cover (mainly) the lights or sound aspects. I'd much rather be hands on and actively involved with the productions than stuck behind a desk.

As I can't quote it ,at present, my little irritation to the OP has been rectified and Chrome finds it acceptable.
I'll accept a free membership for pointing out the problem.
hmm, seems I already have that...oh well such is life. :)

Four days a week I sit behind a desk in an office at home, staring at spreadsheets and desperately trying to avoid falling asleep on interminable conference calls, all while being paid by a multinational communications company as a "Benefits Support Manager".
I previously worked in the pottery industry - when there was one to speak of in Staffordshire - and also spent 18 months working in a small independent camera shop, a job from which I was sadly made redundant.
