I'm a geologist, working in the oil and gas industry.
It's got me around the world, and in the past I have worked in the desert, in ice, in the jungle and far out to sea.  Although right now I am based in London !!

Photography is an expensive hobby, so my work pays for it. I would love to be a professional photographer, but the opportunity has never presented itself (apart from the grind of doing weddings).
