Hi Everyone, here is an introduction to me and what I do.
I'm a Writer that focuses on quite deep and spiritual themes [1000 Petals of Light] and got my self-realisation early in life during the late 90s. I've always been a Visionary and had deep insights and vivid dreaming experiences.
I work as a Gardener & Business Owner running 2x businesses where one is for professional gardening and another is niche gardening. [Goldfinch Garden Design & Plant Care - and - Evolution Gardening].
I also run 121 coaching and ad hoc workshops as a Self-Integration Coach via movement - visualisation - and self-assessment [Soul Vessel].
I'm an Artist & Photographer and am here on Purple Port to rekindle my Artistic Photographic work and illuminate a specific project that has been growing in me for some years. Which, to date, I have not executed to my liking yet.
I'm also a Seller of Supplements [Pruvit Keytones & Forever Living Aloe Vera products] which I believe in as I take these to help me with the physical demands of my different jobs and outputs.
I'm also a Teacher of Self-realisation/ vertical growth or ascent [Sahaja Yoga]. I generally swap this out between the dark and light seasons of the year. Sahaja Yoga (which is free and not a business) is shared in the light season and during the dark season I revert to Soul Vessel helping people with their horizontal growth.
As an Artist
After A-levels I went to Art collage and ended up more as an oil painter than anything else. I did a few murals in Restaurants and ad hoc work. But I didn't sustain artistic work as my profession. In later years I hired a Photographer to star the archetype project for me and in the end felt it would be great to learn it myself and so am doing so. I studies interior design and garden design too and love styling spaces and characters. Oil paint takes way too long to dry for the pace of my ideas and in this light photography is much more suitable.
My Style as an Artist
For me, each image expresses awareness just like our words and thoughts. Beyond the aesthetics. And there are certain qualities (non-aesthetical) that the awareness surfaces in us that are of course combined in with the aesthetic composition.
Examples could be, is the image auspicious, is it evolving consciousness, is it uplifting and in a liberated state. I tend to sit on this end of the scale.
I'm a writer too and what I write seeks the same coexistence and response.
I like images that are natural, pure, eloquent, subtle, grounded, and yet with a slight dreamy ingredient.
Images can be very striking in their petals and form but lack a certain fragrance of the mind. And it is that fragrance that expresses awareness. Awareness of what the creator is seeking or expressing.
Poetry and meaning are therefore important in the images I look to create.
My own work seems to primary express a sort of lover-type archetypal energy that is doing so as part of its seeking and integration as it evolves. And yet there is most certainly a Sage (Teacher) as well as Magician archetypal track of consciousness that comes into play further along.
The creative process is fascinating to me as is relating to others so we can reflect in a transparent way and thus reveal what we are ourselves evolving. What is stuck. What needs liberation. What is overplayed. etc. Which is basically what I teach in my coaching. So, everything is connected really.
We need forgiveness and the courage to become transparent enough to *see* more depth of our layers of being. Creative will is an amazing tool to do so.
