I have for sale an excellent condition (extendable/retractable) dining table with 6 chairs. Purchased new.
When in use for dining/entertaining the table has ALWAYS worn a specialist cut-to-size/shape table-length protective felt 'mat' that totally protected the wooden polished finish from heat, water marks or impact damage. This went onto the table every time (incl. extra section for extended leaf) before any table cloth was laid. Therefore the table condition is almost 'as new'.

The table is presented in a beautiful dark brown (Dark Oak) veneered finish.
The additional centre leaf is stored under the table top when not in use. You undo latches under the table which then allow the table to be pulled apart smoothly from the centre on a 'rail n cog' system. When fully extended you can position the leaf onto the centre of the table, oreintated so that the locating (male) pins are at one end and the (female) holes at the other. You then push from either end slowly until there is no gaps. When not entertaining ... you can simply take out the centre leaf and put back, suspended under the table top, making the overal (length) footprint much reduced.
The seats are covered in a quality oatmeal coloured cloth, which is very neutral. The foam is fairly firm, so that it doesn't easily distort + keeps a nice shape.
The only reason for sale is that it was purchased with 'heart over head' (or much measuring!) and although fine for length, it has proven just a tad too tight for the dining room space it was also sharing with an electronic piano and display cabinet on one side.
All the chairs are constructed very substantially and are quite high backed + fairly deep. They will suit even the heaviest of frames :)

I have taken all the bolts out that attach the table top sliding mechanism to the base section, so that it is ready to lift off and place into suitably large enough vehicle (or roof bars). Similarly the centre leaf has been removed from under the table top and wrapped, ready for safe transport. The table base is temporarily attached to a wooden packing frame, so that too is ready for transport, already braced. Collection from Nacton Village (IP10), which is just east of Ipswich.
