Remote shoot questions....

Chiara,

I know a lot of folks have setups with DSLRs of some sort or another tethered to a laptop for remote shoots. I have tried one once with a model but more for being a test case as she was getting set up and offered to help her try it out (I have an older desktop and figured it might help get the kinks out  - as well as giving an estimate as to how old a computer a photographer might be able to use before whatever remote software being used might not work (whether it's the screen sharing software or something else).

I do have a bias toward thinking that the images one gets with a DSLR would be better given the lenses one can use, image sensor size of the camera, etc. Though some smart phone cameras can give are pretty decent - though the definition of decent might depend on a variety of factors (the phone, intended use of the photos, etc). If (maybe even when) I have questions I'll keep you in mind.
