To try to keep things friendly and fair.
When requesting feedback by all means...
- Post individual images or sets of images.
- Post requesting feedback about your current portfolio, notes or images or both.
- Try to be clear about the kind of feedback you would like.
When replying...
- Whilst it's nice to have praise "luv ur wrk hun" doesn't help.
- Equally neither does "don't like".
- Do not attack anyone or their work.
- Positive critical feedback is better than negative feedback.
- Don't expect a "thanks" - instead assume that the poster has taken on board your comments.
- Be especially nice to new members. This may be their first impression here and no-one wants it to be a negative one!
- Play nice, keep it up beat and enjoy.
Don't...
- Argue - if you disagree with someone just express your opinion and forget about it. Don't try to convince others you are right and they are wrong. Everyone has a right to an opinion.
- If someone comments on your work and you disagree DO NOT start to critique their work unless they have specifically requested it.
- Don't critique work unless it's been requested.
- Reply to someone else's review request asking for a review. Instead create your own post.
