I had a brief moment 2014 \ 2018 as I transferred from Sony to Fuji, where I shot some portraits and nudes. I was looking for subjects to test my camera and photoshop skills on. Most of the work was made in groups or workshops, mostly because I like the company of other photographers, and a studio is more fun than trudging around a landscape in the rain. Some of the work evolved out of conversations with my models, especially the racier stuff, not perhaps my cup of tea, but helpful for someone's portfolio no doubt.
There's plenty of room for improvement, especially on the workflow/postproduction end of things. I'd love to get involved with groups, workshops, tutorials that can help add the super glossy finish that is so compelling when you flick through the FPI's.
My lighting and camera craft is very old school, mostly lessons learnt as a young man assisting in London studio's in the '80s. So if it all looks like it's inspired by ancient copies of the sunday times, and LP covers for Bananarama that's because it is!
