Everly Rose well you do have lots of great shots and you are popular but everyone is different.

You did ask for folks to give you honest feedback. Not to assess how well you did at your job.

I wouldn't book a Studio for regular work if nobody had replied to images taken at that studio.

That's irrespective of whether it was you or not. That's not petty. That shows you how good somewhere is compared to others - it's attention to detail that counts for some and so on. Which might explain why a few shut.

The UK would be a sad place IF everyone voted Labour or Liberals.

Hazard can’t be any sadder than it is after ten years of the Tories

Hazard people did reply to images at the studio images, their point was I did not reply to their reply on my inages at the studio because as previously explained this takes up half my life and my family and being a mum takes up the other I do as much as I can but getting out castings tours and events take up most of my time and I don't honestly have the time to reply ro every single image comment but thays just my life and if someone eas upset about it and asked I wouldn't hesitate to explain.

Hey Everly,

Just my 2p’s worth! Have you looked at your highest performing lead source over the last two quarters? Whichever are the two highest performing sources of new customers (or new enquiries) for you, invest your time into those. Track everything so you can review it every three months so you know how and where to invest your time and efforts into next year too. For example, if your highest volume of enquiries is coming through Instagram / your mailing list, it’s no use putting the majority of your efforts into Facebook or PP.

Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, even postal marketing can still work. Some channels can get more difficult to use or become less effective one quarter but they can be a great source of new leads and new customers in others.

Make sure each of your channels/platforms are working together in harmony and reflecting the same information. Sometimes people enquire after seeing something advertised once, other times it takes people seeing it a fair few times on multiple platforms before they make a decision to book.

Do you have a segmented mailing list or a list of people you can remarket to? Could you advertise your availability in your highlights and grid on Instagram?

Someone mentioned getting in touch with your local camera clubs too - If you can get in there to host a portrait evening you may well get some great 1-2-1 bookings off the back of it.

Just a few ideas for you, hope these help 😊
