Jack, my mum passed many years ago in a similar circumstances, so I think I understand some of the shock you are most likely still feeling. Things are going to be strange for a long time, and a tumult of emotions are likely.

All are valid and you do need to take time and space for yourself. If you haven’t and now maybe isn’t yet the right time, I’d advocate for bereavement counselling. Something I wish I’d done.

Stay safe, I hope you have family around you but always available to chat should you feel the need.

Hi Jack. So sorry for your loss. Sounds absolutely brutal. I work in healthcare so know a bit about how much there will be for you to have to sort out so hoping you have all the support you need as well as getting the time for yourself to have a proper cry and deal with whatever emotions grief throws at you.
