Wow. Woke this morning to my tenth FPI.
Given that this is my first full year of photography, this has far exceeded any of my expectations.
I'm still learning, I still make stupid mistakes which I have to correct in edit.
I never expected results like this. I was also a runner up in a countywide landscape competition too.
Thanks for the massive confidence boost which is only going to drive me to become better.

Good morning Mel and congratulations on your 10th FPI ... and a rather lovely image it is too. But then I do like dance inspired images.
Attending photographic events such as TLE can certainly boost your chances of having FPI worthy subject matter. However it is clear from your portfolio page here that you have the photographic skills to take and present interesting images, and the eye to recognised them, and the imagination and sense of styling to create them on your own. Your modling experience and your BAP course has clearly helped to prepare you. However your own passion and interests also come through strongly.
