Hello Antony Wilkinson Photography !
It sounds like your question has been answered. Thank you to all of the members who contributed here to help a fellow creative :)
I just wanted to let you know that this article has lots of information about FPIs (including some FAQs about the suggested FPI collection). I've now added a link to this article to the information on this group's page (Let's talk about FPIs), so it should be easier to find.

To follow on from this, if an image was in the FPI queue according to your image manager, but no longer is. I assume another member of the team decided it wasn't worthy. Which is fine, but does make the ability to see something that's been added to the queue and then see it's no longer there a bit deflating. I think I'd rather have the surprise of not knowing until it actually appeared.

It's so much easier to ignore it all and if and when you get one it comes as a nice surprise and you don't spend your time being frustrated and disappointed

Firstadekit an image on the queue just means someone's noticed it. Doesn't mean it's made it to the front page , someone could put a whole bunch of images which are not suitable on the queue.

Thanks for the clarification. That part isn't really covered by the FAQ linked above. I'm sure you guys have your own internal processes and periodically review membership of the team that selects, particularly if a load of 'unsuitable' are being added to the queue and then removed by other members of the team.
