I just wanted to mark the occasion really. 10 years ago today, I did my first ever model shoot with a lovely lady called Leigh. Since then, I've met and worked with some amazing people, and made some really good friends along the way.
So, how long has it been since your first shoot with a live model?

I think the first shoot that I booked and paid a Model and studio was 2003 maybe 2004.
The studio was part of a larger furniture warehouse in Clavering, Essex. The studio owner's name escapes me I think it was John.
The model was Becky Speed who I believe is still alive and kicking, I'm sure East Anglian photographers from that era will remember her well.
I booked her through Net Model when that used to be the prominent networking platform.
An awful lot has changed since then.

I photographed some friends in high school, but started photographing actresses in college, so sometime around 46 years ago. Sadly, I haven't gotten much better since then, but it's easier to find models today than it was then.
