Hi

Is it true that non VIP members cant apply for a paid casting ?

If so then this limits the audience for a paid casting as only VIPs can apply, and restricts the models trying to earn because they are not VIP.

So only VIPs can apply for paid castings ?

Matt -- I think you're correct in that non-VIP members cannot apply for paid castings.

I suspect that the thinking is that if someone wants to earn money from this site, they should pay for being on here.

You mean that there are castings in which the photographer is paid? I must see that for myself...

OK, so I made my research, set a 120km range. I found two, one is obviously a mistake (or a bait), the other one a maternity shoot.

It turns out I had misremembered:

Free accounts:


  • You cannot create casting calls looking for paid work
  • You cannot apply to casting calls offering paid work

I don't think it stops them from seeing the paid casting calls, though.

They still apply, they just send a message applying rather than clicking on apply
