I'm located in Southern California, and there's at least half a dozen group photoshoot events available... huge street meets... cosplay characters... fashion events... bikini shoots... extreme makeup events... airshows and carshows with models... you name it. What are some of the most popular events in your region?
Based just south of London, in Surrey UK, and we either don't have that many group shoots around here or I don't hear about them! Would love to attend some.
@selectmodelevents last few were lighting ones.

Ones that I wouldn't need a 2nd mortgage to go on!!!!!! Used to be loads around and now it's all exotic overseas locations costing multiple £k. Seriously, if anyone starts up doing reasonably priced UK based group shoots again, I'd be very interested.

Group shoot and studio day getting to expensive these day, with much reduced disposable income. They also don't give me the flexibility I have shooting in my conservatory studio
It depends what you mean by group shoot - there are umpteen variations.

Mainly studio days/nights
When I was in Seattle there was a group called Seattle Open Shoots and each month they would just do a shoot open to anyone who fancied having a go at "modelling". There would be different locations sometimes just in a park but one time it was in an old power station just south of Seattle, the theme was candy so you had people turn up in bright colours and included kids (with parents obviously) they were great fun
I tend to shy-away from shooting in large groups - too impersonal for my liking. My group shoots are generally smaller groups, mostly people I know already, either in my own studio - which is quite small 24.6m² (264 ft²) - or in a studio or similar environment belonging to someone I know. I generally try to provide a model to add to the pool.
