May be of interest to some. eBay has removed all seller fees as of today. No doubt due to competition from the likes of Facebook marketplace, vinted amongst others.

It seems there are still charges for listing upgrades though (e.g. including a subtitle, setting a reserve price etc).
Don't get to excited this is merely a retention of customer base exercise by Ebay in the face of HMRC newly introduced monitoring of sales. Some listed as private have been avoiding (evading) tax by not declaring income, so account holders may now sell odd items free but serial offenders will urged to get a business account. This doesn't stop some still trading providing they are declaring revenue as a private individual for now.
