It's come to my attention that a scammer is fraudulently contacting photographers who have worked with me on the past via WhatsApp,claiming to be me and asking for copies of images from past shoots.
The phone number being used is 07521368247
This is NOT my telephone number.
Furthermore, I do not use WhatsApp for messages regarding shoots, unless it happens to be in respect of duo work, and even then, it is wil proir agreement with the parties concerned so they know it is me contacting them.
I also am a firm beleiver that once the images from a shoot ilare delivered, if I happen to loose them, it is my own fault and therefore would never expect a photographer to hold onto shoot images indefinitely or ask for copies at a latter point in time.
This is a desparate person who has used my purpleport cover image (the only one which is visable outside the site) and has been stalking other photographers instagram pages for recent images of me so that their message seems legitimate.
This is a known scam and other models/photographers have been subjected to it previously.
God know what the perpetrator behind this wants but they are a very sad and separately individual.
I almost invite you all to spam them with useless messages to teach them a lesson!
Anyhow stay safe everyone and if you are ever in doubt that a text message from me is legitimate, please message me here.
My instam account -secretvixen1 is also very secure with an number of third party authentication apps protecting it against hackers.
