Jerome Razoire

I remember meeting him for a museum visit then going for coffee last year despite his age he was one very lively and enthusiastic man. He never stopped talking and drew a crowd wherever he went. His health was not in a good place then but that didn’t stopped him from dragging me through all the photography galleries of a 5 story building!. I’m so deeply saddened by the news. Reading this thread just broke my heart ❤️

RIP.

I'd seen his announcement but thought he would have longer.  It feels like part of the fabric of PP has gone.

This poem popped up on my inter web travels today. I am of an age where it’s very relevant and I thought of Jerome when I read it. Definitely time to enjoy what’s left in the jar and savour them. Ironically I’ve just found out I am diabetic so I’ll have to nibble sugar free treats!

To Jerome! 🥃

I previously promised to update this community once the funeral arrangements were made known.

I heard today that the funeral will be a small, family affair next week. Once spring has sprung it is intended to hold a larger celebration which members of this community will be invited to attend- I shall provide a further update once details are available.

It has been a long time coming but I can now inform the community that a celebration of Jeremy's life and character has now been arranged by his family and members of this place who knew him either in person or via groups and messages are invited to join in

WHEN: Sunday 29 September at 2:00pm

WHERE: Crossways Burials. Exeter

The family would appreciate an idea of numbers likely to attend so a message here to me will be passed along.
