Very sorry to hear about this. It's bl**dy serious, and the person needs to be identified and stopped. Would this not be a case for the police?

This is not a model its a guy that enjoys becoming personas he creates whilst manipulating photographers and models - usually has a couple of fake profiles from which he is messaging photographers and models that know eachother so he can play with them by at first trying to get some attention pretending to want new shots and then steering conversation to wanting to see more shots in case can do a new shoot with you - pretty soon you find out that he has been message models you worked with as you recieve a message from a model that you have been selling their photos

Not sure what the best thing to do in terms of shutting him down as he simply re-names or creates new profiles and carries on

Seems like I've had a full on horror story in comparison! BUT for weeks I really worked myself up over this and got myself into such a state of paranoia (as if my anxiety wasn't already bad enough!) Genuinely thinking one of my models DID contact them and action WAS being taken against me.

But since I have come across this thread this morning (I was actually looking for the threads they "mentioned were about me") but now I have reason to doubt the whole thing is completely fabricated! thank F**K! 

I wish there was a way to stop them, because they do just follow every single model you've ever worked with and bad mouth you to the moon and back! (Thinking about it now literally as I type this, I have had a handful of models just completely stop talking to me maybe since 2020-2021, for no reason whatsoever! shoots were perfect (in most cases, multiple shoots) and pre and post shoot coms after couldn't be faulted). I can guarantee this person is succeeding in actually causing models to stop communicating with me because of "malicious rumours" they are spreading!!

They will just make a new account and continue :(

But in all seriousness, what can the police actually do!?

If they have been doing this since "Linda Peters" in 2021 who knows how far back this actually goes! They probably know every trick in the book about getting round blocks, different IPs etc false phone numbers/emails for endless accounts.

Yesterday I was contacted on WhatsApp by this number 07521 368 247 claiming to be Katie Cooper whom I have worked with.

I asked about our shoot next week which apparently is still okay. As I did not have a shoot it was clear it was another fake. I contacted Katie and she confirmed it too.

So just watch out for contacts from this number.

It's this sort of issue that makes me worried about booking models I feel sorry for the genuine models

The '8247' fake Whatsapp has been impersonating a few models I know for a few months, guess they finally had to log out of Whatsapp on the 1701 number 

Seems that account has gone now.

Insta is full of fake profiles, scammers, annoying sponsored ads, 'things you might like' 'people you might know'...NONE are relevant & just plain annoying. Insta do nothing about it or them. Pathetic site/app.

There was a fake model on here that got swiftly banned on PP but she set an Instagram up.

We were supposed to be shooting tomorrow before I realised I'd been had. Nevertheless, I noticed since the ban she'd put more pics on her Insta.

I decided to do a reverse image search of some of these and it turned out they weren't even of the same person; they were of about 2 or 3 different models from the photoset site Zishy. In this case they were on a site/forum called Vipergirls where sets from sites like Zishy, Met-Art, etc. get posted.

She claimed to be 18, but some of these images were posted to the site back in 2017!

I tend to ask "what are their (other) crimes" since I do not think this manipulative dishonesty occurs in isolation or without escalation.
