I can still see it, so it could be 'rebecca' has blocked you.  Try from another browser or log out and try again.

Andy McG I have the option to unblock so it's stemmed from an existing account I've already blocked it seems.

Ok, I see what you meant.  I hoped the account itself had been blocked by insta.

But certainly useful to see if future accounts are the same person. As they are bound to continue.

oh my gosh - i also fell for this. Seems to use 2 accounts one called BEcca as well and same nonsense with the "hun" and overuse of "lol" on every line

oh really back again i guess they never left now assuming new alter egos and opportunities to upset people

what is the new insta account handle as nothing comes up for the Sarah Piper of previous infamy

I blocked them so is there a way of checking what they are under now?

It looks like I need the App to be able to do that, and I don't use the App unfortunately.

I wonder if the numbers of fake accounts on social media outnumber the genuine ones? If not, it has to be close to 50/50. They are so obvious to spot, yet trying to get the platforms to take them down is very difficult, as the automated bots are rubbish at spotting spam and fraud. I state this as a fact through testing and observation.

I suspect the situation is, at the moment, very different on PixelFed and Mastodon and other Fediverse services.

I suspect that with the exception of instances - servers - websites - set up deliberately by the malign and tedious, that this will continue into the foreseeable future.

Also, tits allowed.

I want to share my experience I have had with this model literally within the past 3-4 weeks, because whoever this absolute f***wit is they have caused me anxiety and panic attacks beyond belief! (Please forgive me for long essay here, but please read this as ALL photographers and models NEED to be aware of the damage this dangerous person can cause!)

They first messaged me about 6 months ago saying "Hey, great pictures" to which I ignored it as I knew it wasn't a legitimate models account. They clearly get irate by you ignoring them because at first messages seem friendly. THEN the abuse starts.

Then I get a message 3 weeks ago by a model I've worked with before a number of times who since have become friends. She asks me if I know who _sarah_piper2002 is, and I say no, never heard of them or worked with them before in my life. She then goes on to explain "Sarah" was actually first messaging her about a "photographer friend" who she has that wants to work with her and pay her. Said he would come to her home. My friend mentioned her last few photoshoots were with me, to which Sarah then told her I was a scammer, and I sell all my models photos on Onlyfans (never sold a single one of my images in my entire career) and refuse to pay my models for their work. Also saying I'm a liar and I shot with her and forced her to shoot topless. Then when my friend told Sarah she went to me about her, she completely flew off the handle calling her disgusting names and saying she's been "well groomed" by me. 

This wasn't on at all! So I then decided to confront this person to warn them if they contact any of my models again I will be reporting them. This got them extremely wound up! They started saying I'm grooming young girls to shoot with them just so I can sexually assault and have S*x with them and sell their photos. They said I'm ALL over Facebook and PP with warnings of me being a P***phile (and this is what gave my mental health a serious blow! because I have severe anxiety, and who would ever be ok with being called a groomer and P***phile for just doing your job?!) 

They went on to say that they have been contacted by numerous models of mine and they're all going to the police with tons of evidence against me, which I asked about and they couldn't point out a single thing. No posts made about me anywhere on the internet, much to their earlier statement that I was all over social media. (They don't have a shred because nothing has ever been done on my part which is anyway a crime, all my models are 18+). 

She then blocked me, but before that she changed her name to _Sarah_the_wild_rose 

So PLEASE AVOID and REPORT this person at all costs! This person will add/follow/message all of your friends/models that you have worked with previously and attempt to destroy your reputation AND personal relationships! They cannot be allowed to get away with this! I can't even begin to image the damage they have caused to innocent models and photographers by spreading malicious rumours and lies, and god knows for those they have affected, that they haven't caused serious repercussions with the persons mental health and/or personal lives! 

(PS) When reading these comments I noticed a name "Linda Peters" and I instantly remembered that someone of this name actually sent me 7 emails back in 2021 (I will try to censor as much as I can with their email content, these are direct copy and paste from emails) First starting out all innocent asking if I'm looking for models. Now with the consistent misspelling and the pattern of behaviour when they get confronted. This actually makes sense to be the same person!

I went thru the same things

This is not a model its a guy that enjoys becoming personas he creates whilst manipulating photographers and models - usually has a couple of fake profiles from which he is messaging photographers and models that know eachother so he can play with them by at first trying to get some attention pretending to want new shots and then steering conversation to wanting to see more shots in case can do a new shoot with you - pretty soon you find out that he has been message models you worked with as you recieve a message from a model that you have been selling their photos

Not sure what the best thing to do in terms of shutting him down as he simply re-names or creates new profiles and carries on
