Speedlight and Speedlite are trademarked for Canon and Nikon flashes, each part of their system and able to be used on or off camera with suitable controllers in those systems, or mostly as dumb flashes on any camera and trigger.
Speedlight has been hooverised.
I don't recall or care which was Nikon/Canon.

I went for 550ex based on feedback and also decided to keep it in the PP family, why not?
Since paying for the item 5 days ago I have heard nothing from the seller and no arrival of item.
