Cold Weather?

I have done shoots from -5 Centigrade to +42, as long as there is no major rain/precipitation (flash packs and cameras) and there are only light winds for the flash heads to stay up. This is probably the most extreme I have done:

That side, I find models and their lack of a working metabolism are the limiting factors.

Pix Photography are you a WTF on Jan 18th at all? Or not planned that far ahead? 😄

Chris Ennis I wish lack of metabolism was an issue I still suffered with

Patiently waiting to do an autumn leaves shoot. Location sorted. I'm ready. The model is ready. But with such heavy cloud cover at the moment the light levels are so bl**dy low that I'd be working at something like @ISO64000. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

Mercia Storm, I can't find your snow photo but saw the waterfall at FF. I braved the Far Forest Waterfall and was completely under the fall of water, the first 5 shots were horrific due to cold water shock, but funny to look back on :-(

...Oh that waterfall at farforest was fun! Myself and the beautiful Nico Dee braved it for some duo shots too. Our legs went numb after the first few seconds and then it was fine! We both had nice snuggly warm wigs to keep us warm too 🤣
'Ere, you... You threatened to force me on an outdoor shoot during the winter. But would you bring a snuggly warm wig for me?

Orson Carter how did it go? Did you get to shoot?
Still waiting for the gloom to ease. My little camera doesn't do ISO 640000. :(
According to the weather forecast there might be a couple of rays of sunlight in January. S'pose I'll have to take a tube of Loctite and stick some leaves back on the trees.
:)
