Calendar View Starting Monday?

Would it be at all possible to have the option of having the Purpleport calendar start on a Monday please?

Might just be me being dense but I glance at it often and with every other calendar in my life starting on a Monday, I often get confused and caught off guard with the days being set out different and have several times now initially suggested a Friday to a photographer thinking this was actually the Saturday and had to go back and correct myself

Thank you!

Sunday is the first day of the week. All my online Calendars start with Sunday. It seems only phone ones start on Mondays but Sunday is always in red on mine.

I heartily agree with the OP!

Nothing starts on a Sunday...

ClickMore 📷 that's very strange. My phone, laptop, work laptop, home computer, wall calender and the calender on most websites I visit for example National Trust all start on a Monday.

LifeModel thank you!

I would support this change.   Having sat/sun together visually as the "shoot window" for me would be very useful - and when comparing with Google calendar - which starts on a Monday

I beg to differ

So you're trawling for a Monday start, eh?

Orson Carter trawling, fishing, putting bait out, floating my boat in the ocean, just generally hoping the idea floats yah know?

Agreed. Sunday is part of the ‘week-end’. There’s the clue! 😋

This has been discussed a couple of times before. Search this group for the word Monday to find them. I suggest reading those for some of the opinions either way.

(Sorry, I'm on my phone so wouldn't be able to link to them)

I think that in the US Sunday is considered the first day of the week (and some religions), but in Europe, and the ISO standard, it is Monday. More importantly however, most* calendar Apps I have seen allow you to specify which day of the week is the first day, or to use the systems default (and most OSs allow you to set the system default to any day).

So if PP did that, everyone would be happy - and from a personal point of view I would set it to Monday so it is the same as every other calendar I use, either computer based or physical.

*by most, I mean with the exception of PP I couldn't find one that didn't - but I am sure there are some.

If the weekend is Saturday and Sunday, then it must start on a Monday....not really bothered myself but kind of makes sense?
