Group List on portfolio page

Can't see it anywhere (may be being dumb) But is there anywhere to turn/remove the group list from the side of your own page?

Once you get added to a lot of groups it doesn't half make a mess of the layout (how dodgy some of the names are is another matter). So I'd like not to see it?

I guess obvious thing is leave the groups, but some of them are quite useful.

The little drop down arrow at the top right corner of it, Hide.

Though you can restrict which ones you see on your home page by making some of the groups Favourites and only showing those - the remainder will still be available on the Groups page

I think you mean the 'Your Groups' list, not the group discussions widget. No, I don't believe there is a way of hiding it.

I think we can add the ability to hide the groups from profiles.

Ooh that'd be great, ta!

I asked for this years ago. Not just for the 'groups' but for all the items on the profile page that you can click on and close. It would be good if they toggled. So the ones that were open stay open and the ones that you close remain closed, even after log in and out or page refresh.

Can you please use the positive rather than the negative for this option?  i.e. "Show" rather than "Hide".

It'd be nice if you could turn the existing options around, too, to make a more positive UX :)

Are you talking about the way the Groups, Lists and Collections sections expand and collapse on a mobile device?  They don't currently expand and collapse on a desktop.

They do on my Mac (Sonoma 14) - Chrome (130.0.blah.blah). Has always.

Well damn, they do on my PC (Firefox) too - I never saw those as being clickable!  In which case I owe you an apology.  And yes, it'd be nice if those states were remembered, though whether that should carry over to when I view someone else's profile would be a different question.  There would be arguments both ways on that.

I'd be happy just for myself. Visitors don't get to see my private lists anyway, so not a concern.
