Suggestion: Should be a mandatory space on profile for image of creative

My thoughts are there should be a space on your profile for an image of the creative.

This image must clearly show who you are.

I know this will be redundant for models as there whole page is filled of images of themselves, but for other creatives, this would be a good way for others to know who you are.

I mean how often do models or other creatives book a shoot and then turn up, and dont know actually who they are meeting, so you are sending out texts of " I am wearing the yellow jacket" I am standing under the entrance sign" etc

Also on studio days, for the owners if they are going to have say 10 different photographers there, then they already have names to faces.

For me there is only positives in this, and increase safety, which has to be number one for everyone, but be good to hear peoples thoughts!

Allan just interested, I have no view but since you support this idea where is your current self portrait?

You can send your photo privately, or a description of yourself

Group shoots, give a name tag to each attendee

Or you know you could set your avatar to a picture of yourself…

A sensible concept given this is a networking site. I'll also describe my car model, colour and number plate if it might mean a collaborator will find me easier 'in the wild'... Often 'meet' in car parks when shooting in landscape environments.

Not this one again - it's been discussed many times before on here, take a look?

Have you ever stopped to wonder why so many models and photographers operate under pseudonyms?

It's not a dating site....if a model or studio needs a photo for whatever reason they can ask for it...but if you want to lead by example feel free to crack on surely you'd want to do that in the interest of safety and blah blah...

Why should my ugly mug be prominent on my portfolio? It's my work I want the model to see, not me. It's sad but true that some people will judge based on appearance alone, so I'm quite happy to send a selfie to a model once a shoot is sorted out.

There is no spot on the profile for it, hence no image, hence my post about it.
