So, I have long been an advocate for a total block being available, so you literally have ZERO interaction with the person you are blocking.
I use the "block all" option, but it has limitations and I can still see images etc, particularly those that appear in various widgets like the FPI one etc...
Can you therefor consider adding to the "Block All" option the ability to block that user's images, across the site, from being visible if that option is chosen?

I believe Russ has answered this question in the past, citing performance as the reason why some queries (such as for some of the home page gadgets) aren't done.
If your reason for raising the question is more directed at one or two individuals whose images you don't want to see, perhaps consider raising a support ticket with details and let Admin see your problem in more detail.
If you don't mind just seeing a blank white square where the image is of the person you want to block then the Ublock browser extension will do the job
I agree, I do find it uncomfortable that people who have blocked me can continue to see my photos and have brought it up previously.
On other social media a block means a full block and it really should be the same on here.
Though I can see the logics behind not doing it for the forums as so many people block each other on the forums that if a full block was implemented then the forums would collapse like a pack of cards as no one would be able to interact with anyone else given the sheer amount of blocks that seem to occur.
I suppose the most grown up thing to do is just suck up the fact that you may come across people you block on the site.
There's much worse things in life but I do agree that it can also be irritating.

Really? Blocking is that prevalent on the forums? Jeez! I thought that one had to be 16 or over to join PP, so I'm surprised to learn that there are so many children on the forums.

You also know that this is the most childish forum on the web and that's saying something. Personally I think it even outdoes 4chan at times.

Do people really have a disability that prevents them from scrolling past things? 😄 There are over 1,000 images uploaded every day. I mean, sure, I might occasionally stumble upon something I don’t care for—usually a selfie of a body part or something distasteful—but I just keep scrolling until i'm back it better images :-)
If the reason is that you don't want someone to see any of your images, I’d just remind you—this is the internet. Nothing is ever truly private. If you have accounts on IG, FB, or other platforms, people can find ways around blocks to view your images. There are even entire websites dedicated to Ripping profiles to do just that.
