When it's fixed, the code will simply use the browser API to determine whether it is in full screen mode since the API is so well adopted in modern browsers. If there is a problem with multiple screens, then it will be widespread, and no doubt, the browser makers will be working on a solution as we speak.

I see the fix is in progress, but just to add this is happening for me on my phone. Galaxy Note 20 Ultra on the Samsung Internet browser. I guess it's in full screen mode by default?

First time I've ever seen it is today though, which is strange if this is an old problem!

isn't galaxy note classed as a tablet to browsers ? some web browsers or applications might classify it similarly to a tablet, especially in terms of how content is displayed or formatted.

ANDY00 not that I'm aware of. It's the same size as any flagship Galaxy S.

My websites just work on the effective screen resolution for making changes, and it classes as a phone resolution on those.

Chris Conway ah maybe Iā€™m wrong then but I believe the current code is not supported so new updated code will hopefully solve your issues šŸ™‚šŸ¤ž

I've done for entirely other reasons a new install of Debian 12.7 which isn't going through Squid-proxy, and entertainingly Firefox is not showing the behaviour.

Where the change comes from and whether it is permanent I don't know.

Nicer though.

Just stumbled across it thus morning on my Sangsung S24+ using Samsung Internet Browser. I am pretty sure I have done the same right and left advance on my mobile regularly previously without seeing the issue before.

Raised a support ticket thus morning and was told the fix was in work and directed to this thread.

Interestingly, if you manually adjust the page up or down (ie to see details below the image) them the next image pagination correctly.
