Sunflowers, Poppies, Wild Orchids and Wheat fields in Dorset!

Are you a fan of floral portraits?

Spring isn't the only month to have beautiful wild flowers! I'm lucky enough to have sunflowers and a wheat field close to me in Wimborne, which will be at their peak in August/September, poppies which will be starting to come out from June onwards which aren't far either (we may even find a pink opium field), and I also discovered that there is a wild orchid field not too far away in Dorset too! I will give specific locations to those who are genuinely interested in booking in a shoot with me. Alternatively, if there is a location that you prefer to use then I'm open to travelling outside of the areas listed if travel is covered. The bonus of a great wildflower field is of course that not only is it a beautiful backdrop, but it is completely unique and ever-changing. You'll never get the same image twice! And it's completely free! I love the different moods that you can create with flowers, and the array of different colours that they can add to brighten up your portfolio. As it would be weather-permitting, I would recommend we book in 2 dates, OR have a plan B for if the weather is pants! 

If you are looking to add some floral portraiture to your own portfolio, but you're not really sure where to start, then I have many mood boards available to share and collaborate on with you, or if you have a specific concept in mind, then I'm more than happy to bring that to life too! I have some unique ideas for the poppy and wheat fields in particular, if you'd like something a little more out-of-the-box to the usual styles you'd expect, or we can keep it simple, it's completely up to you. I will work with you and your chosen style of photography.

I have a huge wardrobe, which includes bright colours, corsets, ball gowns and a wedding dress (bridal portraits look so stunning in amongst the flowers!) So I can easily accommodate the look that you want! I have naturally long brunette hair which I will be keeping, or alternatively I do also have a platinum blonde wig which you can see pictured above.

As you can see from the images, the poppy fields get nice and FULL! It is important to mention that I will always be respectful of the fact that some of these fields are crops, and I will pick areas that have spaces and/or are already wilted/trodden. I will NOT be shooting in privately owned fields! All locations listed are open to the public.

My rates are as follows:

2 hours: £50

3 hours: £75

4+ hours: £100 

As you will see from my portfolio, I work up to lingerie levels.
