Female life drawing models required in Basingstoke

Although I am on PP primarily as a photographer I also draw and paint models from life.

I am a member of the Basingstoke “Drawn from Life” group which was formed some years ago by a number of local art teachers and artists, mostly of mature years, who meet on Saturday mornings at one of the art studios at Queen Mary College Basingstoke.

The group meets during college term times with usually 6 to 8 members attending and each meeting comprises a three hour session with 20 minute coffee break mid-way. A session will typically start with several 10-15 minute standing poses followed by several 15-20 minute sitting or reclining poses before the break, then conclude with either two 30 minute or one 60 minute reclining pose (with opportunity for a stretch mid-way).

Due to a couple of our regular female models no longer being available, we are looking to book female models of any age but preferably with some experience of life (nude) posing for artists in a group situation. We pay the standard rate for life posing of £15 ph so £45 for the session.  

Bookings are always for a Saturday but as we have 10 to 12 dates each term we often book a model more than once during a term and try to be flexible with a model’s availability.
