Two-to-two tuition? Look no further

I’m offering carefully structured, personalised tuition with Misuzu as the model. We are putting out this casting call to get an idea of what sort of interest there will be for this, ready for when lockdown restrictions start to be eased.

Misuzu has been modelling for over six years and has lots of experience: I’ve been taking pictures all of my adult life, and have offered tuition (as JD tuition) for the last three years. Misuzu and I have a combined total of nearly 500 positive references on Purpleport, and believe that we can offer a sensible and down-to-earth approach to improving your photography, whether you are a complete beginner, new to studio and model work, or have a good deal of experience behind you.

We have decided to try something new and offer a session for just two people. This makes it more exclusive and we will be able to cater specifically to what you want to learn in a way that isn’t possible in bigger group workshops. You can get more attention and support, maximising the benefits of the tuition, as well as u more shooting time. Also, in terms of the pandemic, a smaller group setting will be safer for everyone involved and social distancing can be maintained more easily.

We are offering four hours of tuition in your chosen aspects of model photography in a studio environment for up to two people. The total cost is £280, so £140 per person. This will be entirely led by what your needs are. If you would like to put down a deposit to secure your place, we are offering a £20 discount on the total cost of the session for the first three groups of people who apply.

Included in the price of this session, you will be getting a studio, a model and a tutor. We will find a suitable studio for your needs and we will tailor the training to you. In this offer, you can choose to book this as with a friend or we can find a second photographer to team up with you who has similar photography goals.

We will tailor the session to what you want to learn or improve on, so we will have a discussion once you register your interest and we will locate a studio. But to give you an idea, here are some things we can offer: introduction to model photography, basics of studio lighting, shooting with natural light, specific studio lighting set ups (for example: lighting a nude figure, lighting for portraits etc.), and using natural and studio lighting together.
