Pioneer Short Film Comedy Sketch

Format: Dry comedy with a mixture of a bit of sauciness & intrigue too.
Brief overview:
This image is based on the image on a gold plaque sent up on Pioneer 10 in 1972 that went up into space in the hope that aliens could decipher where it came from & visit us on earth.
Nasa objected to the woman's vulva being shown, even though the man's penis is. This was just the thinking in those days: showing the fanny may upset traditionalists & they may stop funding Nasa.

Fast forward to 2021:

Fanny is the new owner of a new age gift shop & is explaining in an interview why she has decided to promote the new shop with this image & by being nude, she wants the focus on the beauty of the feminine form with nowt taken out.
Fanny will be discussing the plaque & how insulted she feels by not seeing the full naked female form, despite which, she hopes that aliens do find us on earth so that she can show them that women indeed have a fanny. She will have an image that she has amended with the fanny showing.

The shorts will only be around 5 to 10 minutes long each, two versions, one will feature implied nudeness & no focus on private parts, the other will be with some focus on the body.

Fanny will walk around the shop & talk, the lines will be mostly short & some improvisation will enhance the shoot on the day.

I will interview & Mike will do the filming. The questions I ask Fanny will help the film flow & enable her to answer appropriately.

Location: Lovingthegift.Com, Romford, RM7 (Zone 6, from Liverpool St/ Stratford, can pickup from Romford Station)
Shop is closed for customers.

Film time: around 4 hours max.

This is paid but please note its a micro budget so payment negotiable with artist,
Refreshments etc will be available.
Travel expenses will be covered.


I will use the film online on our websites & possibly in some film festivals. The non-nude version will be used in mainstream media & online social media.

About us:
We have been doing various shorts & comedy over the past few years but we have commitments with day jobs to help pay the bills too!

I haven't done anything for a while so now I have a few weeks off work, I want to do this soon as is practicable.

I have had a long interest in space & astronomy & the shop's sign does indeed use the Pioneer image.

Some of our old sketches have had over a million views in total on Youtube over the past few years.

We are genuine, friendly with a sense of humour too!
