Ballet, Balance and Form! Sea and Sunsets!

Hello ballet enthusiasts!

Sooo, the title says balance, and I appreciate that seems a silly thing to say with dance, but equally, I know a lot of models who do ballet shoots but don't do ballet.  A lack of fear of water is required too because if you do lose your balance, you will end up in the drink!

I have a specific image in mind that i'd like to try and capture.  It would require some sort of ballet kick like this:

Basically, a kick that starts low and comes up in a circular motion - from low to high rather than 360 as it were.  Clothes-wise, a tutu & bodysuit rather than a big dress as it masks the form too much for photography I think.  Anything leading up to that shot to pad the shoot out so we get plenty of material for TF is all good.  We can go out on location and do the whole juxtaposition of ballet out and about (think Jordan matter and finding random podiums built into landscapes), or in the studio, or against a sunset... or all the above.

    


The key shot will require shooting at a certain time of day, and there would be ideal conditions, but no way of controlling them, so we'll have to accept that as we go which is why good communication and flexibility would be needed to give us the best chance.

My studio is in Rhyl, North Wales.  We also have plenty of interesting landscapes and potential podiums along the beachfront - we're literally on the front.  There is public transport via a train station (Rhyl), but we have free parking outback by the studio too.
