A video idea in lockdown
Something that could work in the present coronavirus lockdown. I do videography and editing and I love to be creative. The idea is not new but we can make of it what we want. Basically all you need is a high quality phone that takes video preferably in Quicktime format or a good quality camera or video camcorder that can create mp4 files. And you need to be able to upload files to Onedrive. That said the rest is straightforward. I hope that’s not too technical. The bottom line anyway is to make short video clips and send them to me.
 
Create some space in a bedroom or lounge and put your camera phone or camcorder in a fixed place where you can take short video clips. From there we can be as creative as we want. My role is to put the videos together and edit them as creatively as possible. I will then return to you as a short video showreel with some music and hopefully to promote your work.
 
I am happy to work on a part paid basis and we can discuss payment when you contact me if you are interested. One advantage of this approach is that distance and location do not matter. Its also completely over to you to produce the raw material for the video short.

One final point: because of the technical challenges of this approach i will ask you to try it out first, do a couple of mini clips and send to me to check out. It will help me to see what quality we could produce and if I think we could work together. I hope thats fair. I think there needs to eb a trial run first as i will expect you to be doing all the vital work.
