SMALL GROUP – THREE PHOTOGRAPHERS ONLY

This is a relaxed and light-hearted day with serious instruction for those who want to improve their model photography and have an enjoyable experience at the same time. We want you to walk away feeling fired up and able to take your model photography to another level.

The aim of the day is to give you the chance to shoot Shibari in 3 distinct settings and some wonderful fetish fun!

The Day’s Events:

Timing 10 - 5pm

Set 1: Arty Shibari

We will shoot shibari in natural light with the aim of creating beautiful artistic shots that focus on the rope work using a screen and mirrors.

Set 2: 121 Fetish with JJ!

(20 mins 1-2-1 each.  The others will join John for editing advice and to review images already taken).  This set can be as fetishy as you like.  Jenni will pop on a strappy outfit and will open her bag of chains and implements… The mind boggles!

LUNCH

Set 3: The Damsel in Distress

This time Jenni will be captured and tied in all manner of ways…. (Jay is highly creative… this man takes his craft very seriously!)

Set 4: Suspension

Finally, La Piece de Resistance! For our last set Jay will string Jenni up from the ceiling!

Our rigger for the day will be Jay:

knot_here  –Jay is a highly experienced rigger who has been working with photographers to create stunning artwork for the last 6 years.  He’s passionate about this work, very quick at what he does and super safe.

JD tuition: An experienced photographerJohnDuder has been taking photographs for over 30 years. He has a huge depth of knowledge on using both natural light and flash and is a great teacher.

Jenni JJ: An experienced and easy-going model who you will enjoy working with. She is very creative and will work tirelessly to ensure you get the best shots. She is also an experienced teacher and will bring much to the day from a model’s perspective. Jenni started her modelling career doing fetish work, its her favourite genre of modelling. Rococo Farm  : A fabulous natural light home studio with large rooms offering plenty of beautiful features, textures and gorgeous natural light. Rococo Farm is the perfect place for a group tuition day. Situated just outside Basingstoke, less than 10 minutes’ drive from the M3 (junction 5 or 6) and has plenty of off-street parking in the private driveway. You cannot ask for a better setting for this interesting, enjoyable and enlightening day.

Please note– Shibari is a particularly demanding discipline for the model, so, at all times, the rigger will be ensuring that she is safe and (reasonably) comfortable. To put this in perspective, consider how vulnerable a model feels when tied up, and the level of trust that they are placing in those present.

Some ties will necessarily be of very short duration, and we will need to be very disciplined in terms of making sure that camera settings are precisely correct before starting to shoot.

Similarly, to enable the model to concentrate on posing for one person, when angles are specially crucial to a good result, we ask that you do not attempt any ‘duplex shooting’ – only the photographer for whom Jenni is posing should take pictures, unless they have specific advance permission from Jenni to take additional images in a particular setup.

All of this is necessary to ensure that the workshop can proceed with the very high level of mutual trust mentioned earlier.
