Actors Wanted For Erotic Thriller Feature Film

As well as stills photography, I also write/direct/produce films, and I've just started casting for the next one - a collaboration with prolific producers Proportion Productions. We will be casting soon for people with specific looks for supporting/extra roles, but first we're casting for the LEAD ROLES.

The film is "an erotic thriller for the tinder generation", so as we're looking for actors comfortable with onscreen nudity and intimate scenes, I thought we'd throw it open to modelling sites as well as the standard actor casting websites. 

As these are lead roles, ideally we're looking for people with previous screen acting experience, but we're not averse to giving a talented newcomer a shot if you have the perfect look and can dazzle us with a self-tape. After the self-tape round, we will hold in-person auditions in London. 

The film is a low budget independent production, but it will be paid. Due to the nature of the script, an Intimacy Co-ordinator will be on set to ensure the safety and comfort of both cast and crew. (Note - It is an erotic film for mainstream audiences (aimed at VOD, Amazon Prime etc) - adult performers are more than welcome to apply, but it is not an "adult" film - all scenes will be simulated.) Filming is currently pencilled in for June, in London.

FRANKLIN

Lead Role. Male. Age 30-35. Any Ethnicity

Franklin is a middle-class hipster, and a total nerd. He’s a good-looking guy, with a beautiful girlfriend (Candida) and a swanky apartment in East London - yet he’s shy and introverted and never happier than sat on his own in front of his Mac. However his mild-mannered appearance hides an obsessive personality, and when he becomes infatuated with a girl he meets online (Atlanta), things start to get dark.

This role requires nudity and scenes of a sexual nature.

CANDIDA

Lead Role. Female. Aged 28-35. Any Ethnicity.

Outwardly, Candida has it all. A well-paid job in the city, a loyal boyfriend (Franklin), and a body honed from hours at the gym. But deep down, there’s an itch she can’t scratch. She drinks too much, and she’s having an unfulfilling affair with Franklin’s best friend (Brandon) which just makes the self-loathing worse. Through the events of the film she begins to explore the previously hidden side of her sexuality in an attempt to find some kind of satisfaction.

This role requires nudity and scenes of a sexual nature.

ATLANTA/LUCINDA

Lead Role. Female. Age 18-22. Any Ethnicity.

Atlanta/Lucinda is a cam girl and a chameleon and we’re never sure quite where the truth lies. With each persona she picks online, she becomes a different character. As the sweet girl from Kansas, ”Atlanta”, she’s girlish yet seductive. As hard-nosed British sex-worker Lucinda she’s smart, resourceful, and has no time for anyone else’s shit.

This role requires nudity and scenes of a sexual nature. Accents required: American (Southern) and British (regional).

BRANDON

Lead Role. Male. Aged 28-35. Any Ethnicity.

Brandon is Franklin’s best friend and confidant. He’s also having an affair with his girlfriend (Candida). Brandon is the Brad Pitt to Franklin’s Edward Norton - also a hipster, but super handsome, well-built and with charisma and charm to spare. He’s also a bit of an arrogant dickhead. He’s constantly hooking up with girls on dating apps for one-night stands, but he too has a secret - deep down, he’s incredibly lonely - and totally in love with Candida.
