Following a recent interesting thread on stretch marks I have had an idea to shoot a series of photographs of models with scars (of any kind) stretch marks, birth marks etc
Any kind of physical difference will be of interest..

When I photograph a model I am photographing a person.
Not an object.
That person has a history, a character etc.
Scars and marks are part of that history.

I want to highlight the models' courage and back stories
Where appropriate.
I want both marks models are proud of and marks they usually like to hide.

If you have had major surgery, especially if it saved your life, let's celebrate it.
Not hide it.

I want to shoot traditional art nude (and concealed nude if that is the models' wish) but showing the scars that most photographers would conceal or PS out.

Any body type. The only thing I must insist on is the right mind-set.
You need to be emotionally comfortable for this shoot.
Anyone wanting to shoot nude or semi nude who does not usually do that will be very welcome and may impose their own rules.
Over my rule that NO ONE DOES ANYTHING THEY ARE NOT COMPLETELY HAPPY TO DO.
That rule never changes or goes away.

Understanding that some models may be nervous about this shoot, I will impose upon myself a rule that any model is entitled to change her mind at any time during the shoot.
Without me getting upset!

In each case we will talk first about how WE are going to approach the shoot.
So anonymity can be guaranteed, if desired.
Or we can go for an 'in your face' defiant approach.
Whatever suits us.
I may make suggestions you are not happy with but I will NOT push you against any kind of limit.
We work together as a team.

Chaperones welcome.

I will find it difficult to pay for this but in principle I am prepared to where I have to.
Sorry that has to be so crass.

I am situated near Exeter but am happy to travel over the whole country to come to you.
Especially if you can shoot from home or have a studio close by you.
