In this workshop we will explore a variety of acrobatic and flexible poses that can add a unique dynamic to your portfolio. We will cover...
Flexibility training- learn techniques to develop splits and back mobility in a safe and consistent way, with a focus on active flexibility. We will also look at ways you can “cheat” at flexible positions to create a photograph that makes you look bendier than you are!
“Achievable” positions - poses you can learn on the day/in the short term. This will be done on an individual basis dependant on current skill level but will include: headstands, forearm stands, backbends, wall assisted balances.
“Longer term focus” - poses that take longer to develop e.g. freestanding handstand. You will leave the workshop with knowledge on how to continue training these skills safely and efficiently.
We will approach all of these skills from a modelling perspective, focusing on the final image rather than perfect entrances and exits.
As this is the first workshop I’m running for models I will be offering a significantly discounted rate of £35 per person for the 4 hours.
