I've recently finished reading Jean Baudrillard's book Simulacra and Simulation and it was MIND-BLOWING!!!
The book explores how people are a collection of ideas and concepts that they agree with and therefore imitate. For example, have you ever watched a film and started behaving like a character because you wanted to be like them or you saw quirks about them that you wanted to inherit. (I know I definitely have)
So, for this project I am exploring this idea of humanity and imitation. The aim is to capture what makes you you , so I thinking a lot of close ups, portraits, nothing too staged, in locations that makes you comfortable. I feel like everyone will bring something special and important to this project so there's no requirements. I want to capture you as you are and translate your ideas, philosophies and quirks.
