Hi,
I am interested in an incongruous/quirky (mainly) dance photo session within their home environment using natural light. The aim is for this to primarily be nude (there will be some clothed), working with a dancers physique, Angles which will be "open legged" will be avoided. While I have photographed plenty of people nude in their home environment (you can see a fraction of the photos on the links I have included below) as part of a ten year long living spaces project, and have photographed quite a few dancers, including a couple nude, I have never combined all three.
The photographs may be a combination of doing a selection of everyday tasks in a dancerly fashion, e.g. reading/drinking coffee/opening cupboard door/brushing teeth/using mobile etc while doing a backbend, splits, en pointe etc or just using your dancers physique in an incongruous fashion within the home environment, e.g. inverted on chair/sofa. I am expecting static work only, unless your home has very good natural light to capture movement.
You do not need to normally work from home, or have experience with nude photography to take part.
If you are interested please provide me with details of your hourly, and, if different, half day (4 hour) rate. As a bonus, I would be also happy to provide you with a handful of photos if you wish. How long this may take depends on the space you have. I expect 2-4 hours, depending on the space/amount of rooms, e.g. living room/kitchen, we can use. Please also provide details of how much of your living space can we use, and what it is like. I am not looking for a tidy photography studio, I am aiming for a home environment. We will need some space, a small studio flat, for example, will not provide enough room.
Please also, if you do not have dance photography/links to dance photography in your portfolio, please provide links to photo/video of you dancing.
As a matter of course, I would like a signed model release, just in case I ever produce a book of my photography (other uses I foresee I would not need one). I can email this through to you, and would be happy to add any reasonable provisos to it (as long as I know beforehand).
