Studio share - Ancoats Manchester
Restrained Images is looking for a photographer to fill this collaboration casting. It's based around Manchester M4 7JA, UK Added 1528487853.
This casting is closed.
I have a vacancy for a photographer to join my studio share.
The studio is in Hope Mill in Ancoats, Manchester. It is 15 mins walk from Manchester Piccadilly train station and has a free car park making it really convenient for both drivers and those using public transport. Hope Mill is an old Victorian cotton mill that has been converted into studio spaces. It's accessible 24x7 and is full of creative people, interesting features and murals.
The studio has been arranged to give a variety of different shooting options. There is a window for natural light; some 8'x4' boards that can be decorated as backgrounds; a carpeted area with a sofa bed which can either be used for chilling or for boudoir; and a traditional shooting area with white, grey or black vinyl backgrounds that can be rolled down from the ceiling. We also have a storage area for props, fabrics and anything else.
The studio is equip with 6 studio lights and a variety of light modifiers. Basically all you should need is a camera and a light meter (if you use such things). As you'd expect there is an area that can be curtained off as a changing area and hospitality facilities including tea/coffee making facilities, speakers for playing music and wifi.

The sharing arrangement is myself + 5 photographers. We coordinate bookings using a Google calendar. At moment there are no rules or restrictions about when people can book but I reserve the right to introduce some if needed to ensure fairness. Generally if it's free I'd encourage people to make use of it.
Cost is £95 / month and I ask for a 1 month deposit + £10 to ensure that I am given a months notice and you return the key fob. That's it. All inclusive.
- Fixed monthly cost and savings over hiring per hour.
- 24x7 online access to availability / booking.
- Relaxed booking time so you can setup before a shoot or run late without additional studio costs.
- More flexibility if a model cancels / needs to arrange.
- A base to leave any props, etc you use for shoots.
(Basically many of the advantages of your own studio without the hassle, investment or huge monthly costs.)
If interested please contact me and I can answer any questions & arrange a viewing.
