We're VERY excited to announce that JON DOWNS and NICOLE RAYNER will be hosting a weekend of Workshops at THE HACIENDA!
The soul purpose of these workshops is to push your creativity! To encourage you to see and think differently.
No! Forget the rule of Thirds! Yes, put that upside down! It's not in focus? WHO CARES!
This workshop hopes to help add an artistic flare to your images, a flare you can learn and make your own!
Jon will show you a range of weird and wonderful techniques which he uses for his shots on a daily basis.
We Tried these techniques out at The Hacienda and this is what we got
Do you want to learn how to create shots and effects like the ones displayed above?
OF COURSE YOU DO! who wouldn't?
This workshop hopes to introduce you to new ways of seeing!
Show you how to make the most out of your environment - a skill you will be able to transfer to all your future shoots.
You will be taught, not just how to use light, but how to control light.
You will learn how to compose shots differently.
Blurring, double exposing, masking, hoping, failing, winning, learning either is ok! We cover it all!
You may even question everything you once knew about photography (ok, slight exaggeration perhaps)
Nicole will be the one strutting her stuff in front of your cameras! Nicole is a frequent visitor to the studio, so if's there's anyone that will know where the tea bags are, it's her!
Nicole will be there to answer any questions you may have regarding working with models or there approach to creating images, as well as giving you tips and hints on how to get the most out of your model.
Nicole and Jon are a great team - they have worked together many times before and have even been asked if they were married!
We have 4 workshops available.
There will be 2x 4-hour sessions available per day, ran over 2 days.
Each Session will include a 30 minuet comfort break after the first 2 hours. Light refreshments will be provided.
Sessions are limited to 4 delegates.
The total cost per person is £150
Which is a total BARGIN! as that includes, Jon's wisdom, Nicole's wit, Frank, and use of the studio.

The sessions may differ slightly due to available light.
We are more likely to loose the natural light towards the end of in the afternoon session so may have to place more attention on how to use ambient and created light.
