It's that time of year when you should be thinking hard about money

This casting offers an income, albeit from the results of our combined labours. Therefore I have marked it as CONTENT / PROFIT SHARE on this site, while the rules on other sites would see it marked as PAID.

So here's the deal. Please read it through carefully.

Last year I photographed and successfully published a number of calendars. You can still see them on Amazon at http://www.amazon.co.uk/s?ie=UTF8&search-type=ss&index=office-products&field-keywords=BDFoto and I am still getting orders.

I often see models put up castings on sites like this one as late as the beginning of December to shoot a calendar for January publication. That is far too late. The calendar selling season starts in September and reaches its peak in mid November continuing at that peak until well into January. That means that the images have got to be decided on by the end of July (just ten weeks away), design work has to be finished by mid-August and advertising goes live just before the August Bank Holiday weekend.

I AM OFFERING TO SHOOT, DESIGN, PUBLISH, PRINT AND DISTRIBUTE YOUR CALENDAR at NO cost to you apart from the time you put in to shoot the images and discuss the details. Your calendar will be advertised (at MY expense) on Amazon, EBay, my own shop site, and on several other sites where I have distribution agreements in UK, Europe and the USA.

I can design and print in any printable language as long as I can get an accurate translation, with relevant public holidays for the individual country.

If you want a calendar with the work of several photographers in it, as long as I am one of them I will still offer the deal. (The other photographers have to agree to the use of their images in writing.)

The twelve VERY best images will go to an international cancer research fundraising charity calendar being produced in Norway and being distributed throughout Europe. Models included in that calendar will be credited in full.

If you have a specific charity you want to support then your calendar will also be sold through EBay's Mission Fish fundraising scheme. (Please note if you want to use that charity's logo and artwork you MUST get written permission in advance. I am happy to speak to the charity in question to iron out any problems.)

You will get a percentage of the sale price of every single calendar sold, except for purely charity calendars, (paid monthly by Paypal or BACS), and there are no up-front printing costs because I print and bind to order on my own in-house equipment.

You can sell the calendars yourself through any medium you want - Amazon, EBay, your own site or any other site you choose. The order will come back to me for printing and shipping.

I am going to make one thing quite clear; unless you really area the Tulisa, Rachel Stevens, Alesha Dixon, Britney Spears or similar, then the calendar will have to be artistic nude in order to get good sales, but top shelf adult levels are not required. The three exceptions I have found to that rule are, very fast cars, ballet and dogs.

I shoot at my studio in the middle of the South Downs National Park or, for exceptional applicants, I am prepared to come to you within a reasonable distance provided you have a suitable venue in which to shoot.

I have access to a range of stonkingly gorgeous cars with which I can shoot you. Some can be obtained free of charge. For others there may be a charge.

And finally - AND THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT:

There is insufficient time in the day to negotiate this offer over protracted emails. All communications will by phone on voice calls. So I will need your phone number please, and you will need to put my numbers into your mobile phone so you can see it is me calling you. I will also need your direct email address so I can send you relevant paperwork.

This casting is for seriously business-minded models, and that is what you will get from me in return - promise!
