Creative / narrative / edgy Head Shots

On the run up to Christmas lets keep things simple in terms of prep but still creative, interesting and narrative driven.  I've got a studio space near the NEC with a bunch of lighting and backdrops, so no studio fees etc.  Easy to access from Birmingham International Train Station.

I've ordered some bits and bobs for head shot ideas I should be able to pick up by the end of the week.  Just stuff that inspired a seedling of an idea that I hope will work in conjunction with an MUA, there's also room for some creative make to expand on ideas too, maybe even basic sfx.  I've got a few narratives swirling around i'd like to bring to life.   

I'm looking for a more creative and edgy approach, a model who can do beat up and down and out siding towards f*you than staring blankly out of frame with some slap on.  As a result i'm not thinking commercial 'i'm advertising some pretty make up' with nothing else going on, it'll be as much about emotion and speaking to (telling, exclaiming, making them aware of your issues) the audience as beauty lighting (we'll see what the narrative dictates lighting-wise, but for now think strong beauty light) and make up.

So yeah, if you're a bit partial of saying f*you to the world and expressing your frustrations of love and life, or if as an MUA you want to be creative but not narrativeless, then this could be for you.  I don't mind if a model is confident doing her own make up either, I know there's a lot of yers out there that have studied H&MU, but equally i know those how have also like being pampered from time to time too.
