The Workshop

This is the second of two workshops concentrating on the use of small flash units. It is a one day course aimed at those who wish to learn how to use small camera flashes in a creative way. The course is suitable for owners of any make of DSLR although a small amount of time is spent looking at how the Canon and Nikon systems work.

We start the day with a classroom based session where we will have a quick refresher over the techniques covered in Mastering Speedlights, then we will move on to cover amongst other things the use of multiple flash units together with a host of more advanced techniques.

The Location

The workshop takes place at Millwood Studios, Manchester. Millwood studios is set over 3500 sq feet within two floors, resurrected from the remnants of an old Victorian factory is a fusion of the modern and old. Lovingly restored and retaining many of its original features, Millwood Studios offers beautiful surroundings for those in pursuit of photographic excellence.

The Event

The workshop runs between 10am - 5pm on the 6th November. At Millwood Studios, Manchester. The cost of the workshop is £150 per person. And is limited to a maximum of 6 photographers. The Gear

You will need a DSLR or CSC camera plus suitable lenses. we recommend lenses that will cover 24 - 150mm on a full frame sensor, but please bring along your kit bag, and a notepad and pen.
