How to change your avatar

Your avatar is the thumbnail image displayed on your portfolio page next to your display name, just below your cover image.
You can change the image used as your avatar by following the steps below:
- View the image you want to use as your avatar
- Click Use as avatar (from the grey cog, top right)
Your new avatar will now display on your portfolio page.
Alternatively, you can set an image as your avatar by viewing your portfolio page, hovering over your image (or tapping it) and choosing Use as avatar from the pop-up menu.
Images that cannot be used as your avatar
Some images cannot be used as your avatar, such as:
- Images marked as Visible to members only
- Images with the safety setting Not Suitable for Work (NSFW)
- Images with the safety setting Adult

FAQs
I've set an image as my avatar, but when I click on my new avatar, it still shows my previous avatar. Why is this?
It sounds like you have used the Replace this image option (available when you click Edit on your image) to change your avatar instead of using the Use as avatar option to change your avatar. Using Replace this image will not change your avatar.
To fix this, view the image you want to use as your avatar, go to the grey cog (top right) and choose Use as avatar.
