Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Simon came to Basford Hurst Cottage to work with Ivory Flame and Cariad Celis, alongside another photographer Paul.

It was a pleasure to welcome Simon back to Basford Hurst Cottage. He is a really friendly and polite photographer and very easy to host here at Basford. It was great to be able to catch up with Simon during the day as it's been almost a year since his first visit to the studio!

Simon worked hard throughout the shoot alongside both models and his fellow photographer to create many wonderful images.

We would highly reccomend Simon and really look forward to seeing the final edits and welcoming him back to Basford again soon! Thank you Simon.

A joy as ever to work with Simon... this time at Basford Hurst Cottage Studio. He is always such a gentleman... relaxed, friendly, considerate and professional throughout the shoot.

Great at assessing a location and focusing on the areas of interest, brilliant with communication and collaboration, with the skills, awareness and positive attitude to elevate the images together as a team.

Such a lovely way to catch up with Simon, and superb images created! Always whole-heartedly recommended :-)

Simon came to Basford Hurst Cottage to work with Ivory Flame on her studio day.

Simon is a really lovely person to have around. He is easy to talk to, polite, friendly and has no hesitation to ask if he needs anything.

Clearly a very talented photographer, the back of the camera looked incredible!! Simon and Ivory Flame made good use of the shoot spaces available and made sure to look after everything and ensure things were put back where they were found.

I would have no hesitation to recommend Simon and he would be welcome back to Basford anytime!! I can't wait to see the images!! Thanks Simon!

I LOVE working with Simon! He is such an incredibly talented photographer, gives excellent direction and truly brings out the very best in the model.

It had been SIX years (!) since we had last worked together at the sensational AURAPhotographic Studio in Northamptonshire and it was so lovely to catch up (I swear Simon hasn't aged at all!) AURA studio has absolutely transformed during this time (under different ownership) and I greatly enjoyed being back, it was a complete pleasure!

Simon very kindly booked me here whilst I was on a mini tour and I had such a lovely day!! I absolutely loved the natural light images we achieved using the different sets at AURA! The studio sets were absolutely beautiful and a complete joy to model in.

It was such great fun exploring the sets and chasing the natural light! I greatly enjoyed the shots by the incredible fireplace AURA has to offer and greatly look forward to the images! Simon creates beautiful images effortlessly and its been a pleasure to see his photography work develop over the years!

Thanks again Simon, you are a lovely soul; one of life's gents! I really hope to catch up with you again soon! Super highly recommended to all creatives and models alike, Helen x

Had a superb shoot with Simon on the Isle of Arran. What a beautiful day all round. Simon booked me for a full day shoot. I set off and was on the ferry by 7am. We were so lucky with the weather, clear blue skies with white rolling hills. We aimed to be at location for sunrise and as the roads were a bit icy we had to drive slowly and carefully. I was sure we would miss it. Once we parked we still had a 15min walk to the spot. As we were walking upto the first stone the sun decided to poke his head over the hills, the perfect timing. The colours that day were just divine and every few steps we had to stop to take in all the beauty. It's fair to say we created some beautiful artistic images that day and already we are planning our next shoot. Simon, along with being a fantastic photographer is a lovley man, easy to talk to, relaxed and very professional. I would recommend to any model x

Had a fantastic first shoot with Simon. Simon was great with communication prior to the shoot. He was very easy to get along with and we worked very well together. We shot in a studio in Glasgow working to art nude level, Simon was very professional during the shoot and I felt very comfortable throughout. I will look forward to working with him again as we've already discussed a location shoot when the weather warms. :)

I shot with Simon for the first time this week, at Kempston studio.

It was quite a last minute shoot, as he booked my free slot a few days beforehand. He was super prepared and knew exactly what he was looking for, he bought along some things he wanted to shoot and a collection of my images so I could get an idea of the stuff he likes to shoot.

We shot a good few sets and outfits and Simon was a pleasure to work with throughout! I think we got some really nice shots too.

I would definitely recommend him to work with. :)

Naked Soul

I did my fist remote shoot with Simon Yesterday . What an amazing shoot with him !!. Before shoot He sent me light plan & Mood-board which was very helpful for me to set lights & ready with costume & makeup. Simon is very relaxed, Easy to communicate. he was as excited as I was to do the shoot and see the results. The Pictures look Very Very beautiful and I love them a lot. He’s such a lovely person to work with.

He is Professional, kind, and polite during our session and. I really loved working with him and I hope we get to work together again. I would highly recommend him.

Ivory Flame

Lovely remote shoot with Simon recently in my home 'studio'! He got used to the controls well after a while and seized the positives of this way of shooting from afar. I loved the loose ideas he suggested that we then collaborated on together, producing some absolutely gorgeous, romantic imagery.

Simon is always pleasant, artful and considerate in the work we create and always makes me feel valued as a fellow artist. I look forward to future shoots in person! :-)

I had my first shoot with Simon recently at The Hacienda! It took us so long to manage a shoot date which worked for both of us - but we finally did it! Well worth the wait! I have a wonderful time with Simon!!

Simon arrived on time and was instantly friendly and very easy to get on with! Simon was very respectful and professional throughout the shoot! He had some wonderful ideas and was happy to listen to my suggestions also! I loved that he came to the shoot with a real goal of what he wanted! His idea was clear and was a great challenge for me! I really loved Simons approach to our shoot and I think the images turned out beautifully!

The shoot went quickly as Simon was great company and had a lot of interesting conversation as well as a great enthusiasm for what we were creating! I really enjoyed working with Simon and would be more than happy to do so again! I would highly recommend Simon to others and I really hope we get to shoot again!
